Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die review
In “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die”, the world is full of people who are addicted to their phones and social media, if you can imagine that. Suddenly a man from the future barges into a diner and warns that the future is hell because of everyone’s addiction to social media. He explains he’s recruiting people to help him fight to save the future from this fate and we’re off on a crazy, wacked out plot. Sam Rockwell plays the future man who has to lead this desperate campaign. Is it worth going to the theater to see what happens? Find out in this episode of Movies Merica! “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die” also stars Michael Pena, Zazie Beets, Haley Lu Richardson, Juno Temple, Asim Chaudhry, Tom Taylor, Georgia Goodman and Artie Wilkinson-Hunt.
The Creator review
AI, or artificial intelligence, is a top of mind subject nowadays. The Creator tells the story of a war between humans and AI in the future. Also, it’s about how one man, Joshua, who’s sent to spy on and destroy AI finds himself conflicted. Why? Because the ultimate AI weapon is a 6 year old little girl AI robot. After discovering that he just can’t bring himself to kill her, they go on a journey with the military and AI forces all hunting them down. This is directed by Gareth Edwards who also directed the 2014 Godzilla movie and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Check out my spoiler-free review to see if it’s worth watching at the theater. The Creator stars John David Washington, Madeleine Yuna Voyles, Gemma Chan, Allison Janney, Ken Watanabe, Sturgill Simpson, Amar Chadha-Patel, Marc Menchaca, Robbie Tann, Ralph Ineson, Michael Esper, Veronica Ngo, Ian Verdun, Daniel Ray Rodriguez.
